Mad Hatters Tea Party

We are delighted to announce our Mad Hatters Tea Party, a joint fundraising event to be held at Fettes College on the Queen's Lawn on Sunday 3rd July 2011, beginning at 4pm.

Following Founder 's Day, being the last day of term at Fettes College, the marquee pitched on the Queen's Lawn for the Headmaster's final address of the year to pupils and parents, will be transformed into a magical Wonderland. The partnership between Fettes College and MMT will bring together literature  and epilepsy in a celebration of the work of Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass and whose imaginative genius they say was brought on by seizures.

Guests will enjoy croquet on the lawn, Alice in Wonderland style and witness a Mad Hatters Tea Party whilst they sip their champagne. The late afternoon's Wonderland magic will be followed by a Michelin Star Black Tie dinner prepared by Martin Wishart and entertainment will comprise the most talented of Fettisians, both past and present!

Our weighty team of organisers from both the Fettes Foundation and MMT have the plans well in hand, with attention to detail being the priority in order to bring to our guests the most exquisite midsummer fundraising experience.

Tables can be reserved now at a cost of £3000 each for a table of 10.
