Team MMT Prepares for the Edinburgh Marathon

We would like to extend a huge thank you to all of our fantastic MMT runners who will be joining us on 31st May to take part in the 2009 Edinburgh Marathon.

Runners should assemble at 7:30am for a team photo before the relay runners depart to their starting points.

Runners and their supporters are very welcome to join us for a finish line party at Musselburgh Race Course in the Rockavon Bar. 

In order to thank you for your fantastic effort we have arranged for a masseuse to join us to help ease away any race day aches and pains!

The MMT team will be on hand to make sure you are well looked after and are suitably refreshed and refueled!

We look forward to seeing you on the big day!

 Runners' Schedule

7:30am - All assemble at the offices of Event Consultants Scotland for team photo

Parking is available at John Lewis / St. James' Centre which can be accessed from York Place / Queen Street or from Leith Street, (leading away from Princes Street).

Any bags left at the office can be taken to Musselburgh Racecourse for runners.

8:15am - Team drivers take runners 2, 3, and 4 to the first hand-over point at Fisherrow Links and drop off   runner 2.  Meeting Point will be the 'Shelter Marquee' near the hand-over point.

Parking should be available near the Brunton Theatre.

9:15am - Team drivers take runners 3 and 4 to the second hand-over point at Port Seton East Links.  Meeting point will be the 'Shelter Marquee' between hand-over points 2 and 3.

Parking should be available on or near Fishers Road.

10:15am - Team drivers return to the first hand-over point at Fisherrow Links and meet runner 1.  Meet at 'Shelter Marquee'.

11:15am - Team drivers and runner 1 return to Port Seton East Links to meet runner 2 and wait for runner 3.  Meet at 'Shelter Marquee'.

12:15pm - Team drivers take runners 1, 2 and 3 to Musselburgh Racecourse.  Parking will be available at MMT HQ at Eskmills.

12:45pm - All meet at Musselburgh Racecourse for MMT finish line party!  Meet the MMT Team at the Rockavon Bar within the Racecourse complex (next to the betting shop).
