Hilton in the Community Foundation partnership

We are pleased to announce that the Muir Maxwell Trust has been chosen by the Hilton in the Community Foundation as their charity partner for this year's Foundation Ball. The Ball will take place in London on 24^th October and 50% of the proceeds on the night will be donated to MMT to support the provision of epilepsy alarms. The Hilton in the Community Foundation focuses its giving on smaller charities that help young people, and awarded £1.17 million in 2008 benefitting 700,000 children. The annual Ball is the Foundation's premier fundraising event, providing business leaders, corporate clients and celebrity guests with an evening of glamour and entertainment in the magnificent surroundings of the Hilton on Park Lane. MMT was selected from a shortlist of around fifteen national charities. The Foundation said that the Trustees were hugely impressed by what Ann Maxwell has achieved so far through the charity for children with epilepsy and their families, and they were delighted to support such a worthwhile cause.
