£60,000 Over Three Years from The RS Macdonald Trust

Grateful thanks to The RS Macdonald Trust, the first charitable trust to support our partnership with Edinburgh University College of Medicine to establish the Muir Maxwell Childhood Epilepsy Research Centre, with a most generous grant of £60,000 over three years. The RS Macdonald Trust supports children's charities in the area of child welfare and neurological conditions.  

Total funds raised since March 2009 for this project now exceed £300,000 with a pledge to raise £1million over five years to support the research team currently being recruited. This world class team will focus on translational research taking it from "the bench to the bed" to provide tangible benefits for children and families.
