Jonathon Zeigler is a student at the Priory School in Suffolk and he recently took part in their Charity Cycle Ride, raising funds for MMT.
Over the 3rd and 4th July Jonathan cycled an amazing 110 miles and raised £430 in the process. We would like to pass on our congratulations to Jonathan for this fantastic effort and say a huge thank you to all of his supporters.
Jonathan was inspired to cycle for MMT after his Grandmother Elizabeth Breeze read an article about the work of the Trust. Sadly Jonathan lost his Mother in an epilepsy-related accident and Elizabeth thought that raising money in the Charity Cycle would be a fitting tribute.
In her letter to MMT Elizabeth stressed the importance of encouraging individuals with epilepsy to choose showering over bathing. She hopes that no other families will have to experience the loss of a loved-one as a result of an accident in the bathroom caused by an epileptic seizure.
Thank you again to Jonathan and Elizabeth, for their courage and determination to make a difference.
