MOTY Nomination

MMT's Co-Founder, Volunteer Fundraiser and Mother of Muir (age 15 years with Dravet Syndrome), Ann Maxwell has been short listed for the Tesco Mum of the Year Award ( MOTY). These highly prestigious awards recognise the extraordinary contribution of ordinary mothers to charitable causes and the community and often whilst coping with adversity.

Ann was taken aback to learn from Cedar PR that she had been nominated and is now in the short list of 35 high achieving mums for the MOTY awards. All at MMT are thrilled and excited! Seven mothers will soon be identified as the winners, in addition to a celebrity Mum, and a prestigious star studded award ceremony will take place at the Savoy Hotel in London next March, in advance of which the winning Mums will be indulged with their very own photo shoot.

Our fingers and toes are crossed for Ann but even if she is not amongst the winners - and it is extremely stiff competition - she is thrilled to be short listed from 2000 nominees and MMT is basking in the glory of that.

Well done Ann!
