MMT secures a new Guinness World Record

It's on page 148 of the 2013 Guinness World Record Book!  At a Mad Hatter's Tea Party a stunningly beautiful 'Alice in Wonderland' wall calendar was auctioned in support of the Muir Maxwell Trust and the Fettes Foundation, raising the most money ever for a wall calendar at a charity auction - £36,000!

The calendar features exquisite working drawings of costumes designed by students at Edinburgh University College of Art for Fettes College drama pupils to wear, in character, at the Mad Hatter's Tea Party.  The event was held in a marquee on the Queen's Lawn at Fettes College in July last year.  Each sketch that featured in the calendar was signed by the student who designed each costume. The calendar was bought by an anonymous bidder.

Make sure you get your copy for Christmas and check out our entry! Long may it remain the 'GWR!'
