Madame Butterfly at Middle Temple

Thanks to a long list of artists and gallery owners who have helped us gather the most stunning collection of art for auction at our Middle Temple event in London on Thursday 21st March, the Muir Maxwell Trust will host its first ever art auction in support of children with epilepsy. This inaugural event will coincide with the Trust's 10th Anniversary celebration.

The list of donors is long and the names are weighty including Hanneke Beaumont, Robert Bowman Gallery, Fletcher Sibthorp, Heartbreak Gallery, Lesley Banks, Cyril Gerber Fine Art, Emily Young, Bourne Fine Art, James Morrison, The Scottish Gallery, Chris Bushe, Open Eye, Albemarle Gallery and many more. Too many to mention. Suffice to say, details of all of these works, the artists and their galleries will feature on the Muir Maxwell Trust website very soon.

We are thrilled to announce that preceding the event will be a private view of all the art for auction at Jack Vettriano's Heartbreak Gallery, Bulstrode Street, London on Thursday 14th March and the show will continue until Thursday 21st March when it will be moved to Middle Temple for the climax of our fundraising event.

Uniquely, the live auction managed by BidSmart will open, and will be accessible by mobile phone for any interested bidders coinciding with the evening of the private view. Bidding will continue 24/7 until the close of the event at Middle Temple. Bidding is expected to be lively!

Amongst the lots will be some wonderful and unique experiences that ordinarily 'money can't buy.' Of particular note is A Champagne Five Course Dinner For Two With Wines - Plus Fifty Guests at Martin Wishart's highly acclaimed bistro restaurant in Edinburgh, 'The Honours.' Edinburgh's Michelin Star Chef Martin Wishart, along with Zubair Mohamed of Raeburn Fine Wines, has supported the Muir Maxwell Trust throughout its decade of fundraising and this exclusive prize has been donated to mark the Trust's 10th Anniversary Celebration. Jazz singer Todd Gordon and his band, also a long time supporter, will provide the ambience for the winning bidder's private dinner party at this iconic restaurant in Edinburgh.

Heartfelt thanks to all supporters of this event and those of the last 10 years for their unending kindness and generosity, on behalf of children with epilepsy. Together we have enabled a giant leap forward in the diagnosis, treatment and prognosis for children with difficult epilepsy.
