Team Cyberonics to climb Mount Ventoux for children with epilepsy

France is calling an international team of cyclists, all employees at Cyberonics, to climb Mount Ventoux - one of the toughest stages of the Tour De France. Part of the Alps but a bit separate, and the biggest mountain of all, often referred to as the ' Beast of Provence,' it is renowned because of the 90 mile per hour winds that prevail at the summit most of the year round.

Cyberonics is a medical device company whose mission is to improve the lives of people touched by epilepsy.  A number of the company's employees have taken the Cyberonics mission to heart and they are doing this to raise funds for children with epilepsy and their families by supporting MMT.

However it is not a climb for the faint hearted!

Scheduled for 7th September, this is a climb not a race - although the competitive spirit that reigns within the Cyberonics culture will no doubt win through. Training has been in progress for some months and we wish all team members the very best of luck as the date of the climb begins to loom on the horizon and thank you so much for choosing MMT as the beneficiary of this amazing fundraising challenge.

Fundraising has begun and a flyer has been produced in English, Dutch and French, also featured on our website.
