Good Luck Mhairi!

Muir Maxwell Trust (MMT) ambassador, Mhairi Fergusson and recently crowned Miss Scotland 2015, is competing in the Miss World contest in China this weekend. On behalf of everyone at MMT and all of our beneficiaries, we wish Mhairi the very best of luck.

Mhairi 1a

Mhairi has been an outstanding ambassador for the Trust since her epilepsy was first diagnosed aged 12, taking centre stage at many MMT events to help raise awareness of the struggle epilepsy often presents for young people and their families. Her role as an ambassador continues as she takes epilepsy to a global stage at the Miss World contest, speaking openly about her epilepsy and raising awareness of a  most misunderstood neurological condition suffered by so many.  No one will ever really understand what Mhairi has had to overcome in order to achieve this wonderful goal.

We are immensely proud of our Miss Scotland 2015 who is already a winner in so many aspects of her life. Congratulations Mhairi.

The Miss World contest will be broadcast on 'E' at 12 noon on Saturday on Sky, Channel 151 and if you would like to give her your vote please down load the Miss World app and support this beautiful, brave and inspiring lady.

Congratulations and Good luck Mhairi from us all!
