Muir Maxwell Trust thanks Leonardo employees for £5,400 donation

A big thank you to Leonardo employees who have raised a total of £5,400 for our charity. Members of the electronic engineering company’s Charity Committee hosted a Golf Tournament at Uphall Golf Club on 27 May, attended by over 100 of their employees and suppliers. Damp, windy weather at the 18 hole, par 69, parkland course located in West Lothian didn't deter the golfers from racking up some respectable scores, including the overall winner of the main prize, Scott Armstrong from Edesix.

Muir Maxwell Trust representatives Ann-Marie Nelson and Anna Smaill, who attended a special cheque handover last Friday, expressed heartfelt appreciation on behalf of our charity for the donation which will be used to provide practical support to children living with the condition, as well as their families and caregivers. The funds will also assist the charity in improving awareness and understanding of epilepsy, to help remove the stigma associated with the condition.
